My name is Helena<\/p>\n
I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist accredited by the IACP and the APCP.<\/p>\n
I grew up in West Cork and left to work and travel, living abroad for most of my twenties.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I have always been drawn to connecting with people to understanding what makes us tick and how personal development can change lives.<\/p>\n
I, like most people, have faced issues in my life where I turned to counselling for support. Engaging with talk therapy changed my life and made me think \u201cI want to do this for someone else\u201d.<\/p>\n
So, after a decade of working in sales internationally I moved back to Cork and re-trained in counselling \u2013 taking a year out of the degree programme to gain a further qualification in Life Coaching before returning to complete my bachelor’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.<\/p>\n

I love to read \u2013 anything \u2013 and generally have about 5 books on the go at any one time. I dream of one day owning dogs and donkeys\u2026 or living by the ocean.<\/p>\n
I offer online therapy as well as in person sessions in Ballingcollig, Bantry, and in Dingle.<\/p>\n
