I offer online and in-person (Bantry, West Cork & Cork City centre) counselling and psychotherapy and use an integrative approach to therapy.
Our reactions and emotions can too often be dictated by past experiences – psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore our behaviours, thoughts and emotions. Connecting with and developing empathy for ourselves and others will lead to a genuine experiencing of our lives. It is not only when something goes wrong or for negative reasons that people attend therapy – often it may be to find out why we think the way we do or find out more about why we react in a certain way.
Life coaching is a specific form of talk therapy where the focus is on goal setting, overcoming obstacles, and unlocking your potential. We live in a world focused on the external where comparison and evaluating our lives by everyone else takes centre stage. Coaching provides a welcome opportunity to pause and look inward and to take stock of what’s working and what may no longer be serving you.
